Grandparents' Day

At Mary of Nazareth Catholic School, Grandparents Day is one of our most cherished traditions. It is a day filled with joy, faith, and family. Each November, we open our doors to welcome the grandparents and special friends who play such an important role in the lives of our students. This celebration is a time to honor the love, wisdom, and faith that grandparents so generously share, and to recognize the beautiful legacy they pass on to future generations.

Throughout the morning, grandparents are invited to visit their grandchild’s classroom, meet teachers and classmates, and see the wonderful work students have been doing. Together, we will then gather for Mass, offering thanks for the gift of family and for the generations of faith that strengthen our community.

Whether this is your first Grandparents Day or a beloved annual tradition, we are so grateful for your presence. Your stories, your guidance, and your example of steadfast love are blessings that inspire us all.

Please RSVP using the form below so we can prepare to welcome you with the warmth and care you deserve. We look forward to celebrating this special day with you!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Where Do I Park?

Coughlin Transportation will provide transportation for Grandparents Day.

All guests are kindly requested to park at Our Lady of Visitation Parish (OLVP) and will be shuttled to Mary of Nazareth School.

For your convenience, shuttle services will be available continuously throughout the event. Additionally, car transportation will be offered to individuals with physical limitations who may be unable to use the shuttles safely.

  • Handicap Accessibility ?

Yes. Both the main school building and the Katie Fitzgerald Center  (KFC) are fully handicap accessible. We want all of our guests to feel comfortable and welcome throughout the day.

Please note that while our facilities are accessible, there is a fair amount of walking involved between classrooms and the KFC where mass is taking place.  We encourage guests who may need  additional time or assistance to plan accordingly. Our staff and volunteers will be available to help throughout the event, and we’ll do our best to make sure every grandparent can enjoy the day with ease.
