The Mary of Nazareth School Cotillion program offers an introduction to ballroom dancing and social grace training for eighth grade boys and girls. Students enjoy the opportunity to learn basic dance steps and etiquette skills from professional instructors. Staff from the Development Office and parent volunteers from Mary of Nazareth School serve as chaperones.
A standard of dress is required. Young ladies are expected to wear dresses of appropriate length with appropriate coverage, dress shoes, stockings and white wrist length gloves. Shoulders must be covered. Gloves will be available for sale before each evening instruction. Young men are expected to wear a coat and tie, dress slacks and smooth soled dress shoes. Athletic shoes, boat shoes, blue jeans, cargo pants, leggings, mini skirts and revealing tops are inappropriate. Responsible and courteous behavior is expected from students at all times.

*Final evening with formal sit-down dinner 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM
