From the Nurse

Please send your children to school with appropriate winter attire; coat, hat, gloves, etc. Children in grades PK-5 go out 2 times a day for recess and a sweat shirt is not enough to keep them warm. Only the MoN sweatshirts are allowed to be worn in class.

From the Nurse

Please send in Chapstick and or some Vaseline for chapped lips. Children can keep this in their backpacks and use when necessary. Nurse Williams has constant visitors for Vaseline and we want the health room to be priority for children who are sick or injured. Also, please remind your children that they are not to share their Chapstick/ Vaseline.

Extended Care Positions Available

We  have an opening for an after care staff position. Please see  info here.

January Project - Share the Warmth Coat Drive

Save the date! We will be sharing the warmth and collecting coats for the Interfaith Works Clothing Center: our goal at the Center is to provide families and individuals in need with quality used clothing and home goods, with your generous help. We want to offer our clients a sense of pride and dignity by making good quality items available to them at no cost.

Coats should be in new or gently used condition. Please honor the dignity of others and only donate coats you'd wear again (no rips, no broken zippers, clean condition). Collection dates: January 4 - 18.

Support Mary of Nazareth's Home and School Association:

This program runs all year. Please submit your Box Tops labeled with your child’s homeroom to the front office.
Save the caps and box codes from your Coca-Cola products and points earned may be used to purchase classroom supplies.
Area stores offer reward programs to support the HSA. If you are a frequent shopper at Giant and/or Harris Teeter, be sure to link your shopping cards to their A+ Rewards and Together in Education (TIE) programs respectively.

Help support the HSA without spending any extra cash. The SCRIP program features gift cards to many popular stores, restaurants and retail establishments nationwide. SCRIP cards are used just like cash in stores, and most can be used to purchase from the retailer’s online store. Participating retailers may be viewed here.
