Volunteers Needed for Mobile Science Lab
Here through Friday, March 24th 

We are in need of some volunteers to assist with the set up, lesson monitoring, and clean up of the labs that will be taking place for the rest of the week. We are very excited to have the opportunity for our K-5 students to participate in this experience again! 

The investigations on the Mobile Science Labs are aligned with the NGSS, Environmental Literacy, and Common Core State Standards. The investigations also allow students to explore the NGSS Science and Engineering Practices as they work as scientists to investigate real world problems. Used Books Drive through April 3
 

 5th Grade is very excited to share that many books have been dropped off at the designated boxes. Please continue to support this worthy cause and donate your gently used children's books you no longer need. These books will be delivered to underprivileged children (ages 0-18) served at Unity Health Care (Upper Cardozo location). We welcome picture books, historical tales, and all other subjects! The used books drive will run through 4/04/23. Thank you for your support!

** Special March 30th in-school dress rehearsal for Pre-K through 2^nd grade students **

 
When:   April 24-April 28, during your child’s scheduled STREAM class
 
Who:  Grades Pre-K through 8
 
What to Expect:   Join your child and their class for fun and interactive activities based on Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Art, and Math.
 
Directions:   During the scheduled class period check in at the main office to get a volunteer badge. Mrs. Wray will bring the group down to the STREAM lab at the beginning of class.

We’ve had great number of athletes interested in track but it’s not too late to signup!   However, due to the time and space constraints with getting 80+ kids dressed for practice, the practice time for track will change to 4:30-5:30 starting 3/27.  Practice days remain Monday and Wednesday.   Please reach out to Jackie.benko03@gmail.com or Patrick.benko@gmail.com if you have any questions.

 

Our Lady of the Visitation Parish is blasting off our STELLAR Vacation Bible School (VBS) program from June 19th-June 23, 2023 from 9:00 am - 12 Noon and it will offer a combination of fun inside and outdoor activities.
