Shady Grove Pregnancy Center Baby Bottle Campaign Pandemic Edition
For years, Mary of Nazareth has proudly supported The Shady Grove Pregnancy Center with our Baby Bottle Campaign, which raised funds to help provide counseling, classes, supplies, and assistance to pregnant women. While the pandemic hindered our efforts last year, the Student Government Association (SGA) is excited to sponsor this fundraising effort with a re-designed Covid-friendly approach.
Typically, students bring home plastic baby bottles that are filled with loose change across the span of four weeks. This year, we have acquired large plastic containers (see picture below) that will be placed in school entrances. We are asking blended learners to collect and bring in loose change, which they can drop off in these containers as they make their way to their classrooms. We will place a container in the foyer for distance learners to drop off their loose change as well. It’s safe, simple, efficient, and it helps others. What more could we want?
Please consider donating. Even though there is a pandemic, that does not mean the needs of others go away. The Shady Grove Pregnancy Center still needs support to carry out its work in upholding and protecting the dignity of human life, no matter how young. Every cent helps and is appreciated.
Our redesigned Baby Bottle Campaign runs from May 18th to June 4th. Our goal is to raise $2,500 We can do it because #theresnoplacelikeMoN.
