Hot Lunch Update
We are excited to announce that we will begin hot lunch for MIDDLE SCHOOL students (Grades 6, 7, 8) and teachers on Tuesday, November 2, 2021. As previously mentioned, we will begin using lunch distributor, Yay! Lunch. Yay! Lunch is a lunch distributor that partners with various restaurants to deliver quality, prepaid, personally selected lunch items to students.
Middle school parents will be able to access the Yay! Lunch portal and sign up their student on Thursday, October 28, 2021. At this time, please do not sign up any student that is not in grades 6, 7, or 8 as the back end of the website will be adversely affected.
Lunches are pre-ordered and can be ordered up until the Saturday before the upcoming week delivery.
If you would like your student to participate in hot lunch, please use the link HERE to create an account with Yay! Lunch
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS to help distribute lunches. Please click HERE to sign up.

Mr. Rice to Run His Second 50 Miler!
Mr. Matt Rice, our computer teacher, will participate in his second 50 mile endurance run on Saturday, November 13 from 6:00 am until 7:00 pm. This trail run showcases the beauty of both the Seneca Greenway and Muddy Branch trails in Montgomery County, Maryland and runs through the area of most of our supporting parishes. Part of it makes a loop around the MoN property. The course traverses forested, rolling terrain on a primarily single track, dirt trail. There are small stream crossings.
See HERE for more information about the race as well as tips on how to watch the runners.
Join Chess Club!
Would your child like to learn how to play chess? Or does he/she already know how to play, but would like to strengthen his/her skills? Your child should join MoN's Chess Club! Chess Club is taught by experienced Silver Knights instructors using a curriculum development by National Masters. Each weekly session is a mix of learning and play. Playing chess is a great way to develop a child's critical thinking skills, sportsmanship, and patience -- all while having fun! Questions? Contact Laura Scaletti (firstname.lastname@example.org).
