Wine bottle collection for the 2021 Gala continues all next week during morning carpool.
On Tuesday, March 2, students in grades K-2 will celebrate "Read Across America Day". Students may come to school or virtual class dressed as a book character.
IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ: The State of Maryland has updated their requirements for travel and COVID testing effective December 17, 2020. All Marylanders who travel outside of Maryland or any individuals who travel to Maryland must either obtain a negative COVID-19 test result or self-quarantine for 10 days. This applies to all states, with the exception of Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and Washington, DC. Any student of a family who travels to any state other than those mentioned MUST present a negative COVID-19 test or proof of quarantine to Mrs. Phillips before returning to the blended learning environment.

Comfort Cases Collection
The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is collecting items for Comfort Cases, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides children ages 0-21 who are in the foster care system with a case filled with essential and comfort items. Donated items must be newly purchased or unopened. Donations can be placed in designated bins at the school’s entrance anytime through Wednesday, March 3rd. The NJHS thanks you in advance for any donations you are able to make to this worthy cause.

Wine Bottle Collection Continues
The Development Office will continue collecting bottles during morning carpool next week, Monday, March 1st - Friday, March 5th. Just hand your bottle to any staff member taking your child's temperature at your car! We ask that bottles be of a $15.00 or more value and can of any wine type. Thank you for your support.
Rollin' in the Dough!
If your grade sells the most tickets by March 26th, your entire grade will get a pizza party on March 29th or 30th!
After the auction, the grade that sells the most tickets overall will receive a pizza party on April 29th or 30th.
Want a chance at $5,000 or FREE tuition for next school year? You could be Rollin' in the Dough! Mr. Friel is challenging you to sell the most raffle tickets out of everyone in the school-- the victor of this achievement will have a waived registration fee next year as well as be given 10 additional raffle tickets in their name for the raffle! Pastoral recommendation forms for the 2021-2022 school year are due to the MoN office by Friday, February 26, 2021. This form must be submitted each year for those families wishing to qualify for the Archdiocese of Washington tuition rates. Please access form HERE (pdf) and HERE (word doc) or on the website under “Admissions”, “Admissions Process and Forms”. Fill it out completely, and follow the submission instructions below for your parish. (Don’t forget the family picture.) If your parish is not listed, please contact that parish office for guidance. The parish office will return the form to Mary of Nazareth School unless otherwise noted. You will be notified by Mrs. Wray once it is received. Please contact Mrs. Wray with any questions.
