Jenna Moxley, MON class of 2009, graduated from College of Charleston in May 2017 with a double major in Business Administration and Hospitality Management, and a minor in French. Jenna fell in love with French language and culture as a 7th grader when she visited France for the first time. This led her to study French in high school at the Academy of the Holy Cross and again in college. She secured a paid internship with Hilton International at their downtown Paris hotel in the summer after her sophomore year of college and again in Prague the summer after her junior year.
After spending these two summers in Europe, Jenna decided she wanted to return after graduation rather than getting a traditional job right out of college. She found a way to spend a year in her favorite city, Paris, through TAPIF, Teaching Assistant Program in France. Through this program, Jenna was hired to teach English at two professional high schools: one for business and one for hospitality. In addition she will be helping a French family's young children learn English in exchange for her own studio apartment. Jenna is a great example of being resourceful and adventurous in pursuing her dreams!
